A Hole in the Chest, Finished, Illustrator CS4, 20″ x 15″

So I keep changing my graphic style from every piece I’ve been making.  But I’m going to make a series of pieces with the same aesthetic as this one.  It will be a series with the white bunny, who is supposed to represent me (I was born in the year of the rabbit).  The concept first came from an old Xanga entry that I did back in 2007 titled the same.  It was about having this feeling in my chest that it seemed hallow.  And that feeling was the feeling of fear, but at the time I didn’t know what I was afraid of, but felt that something bad was happening.  So I went for a dark and ominous look, yet I wanted to shed some color into it.

12 pieces to go!

This is the original idea and sketch for A Hole in the Chest.  But I found inspiration with vectors, so I thought I’d give that a chance first.
